Schedules, Guidelines & Reservation Pathways
Official Booking Process
To secure fair resource preparation and perfect schedules, all kitchen events run through strict digital rules.
- Each booking is confirmed based on availability.
- Public Classes: Operate on approved, pre-determined culinary structures.
- Private Classes: Often called custom classes, are scheduled strictly by review/approval.
- Once a request is submitted, confirmation will be provided depending on availability.
Option 1: Booking a Scheduled Class (Public)
- Navigate: Go to www.villagekitchenhiriketiya.com and click Cooking Class in the navigation menu, or visit directly at www.villagekitchenhiriketiya.com/cooking-class.
- Select Your Class: Scroll to the Upcoming Classes section, find your preferred session, and click the Book button. This will instantly take you down to the registration form.
- Fill Out Details: Enter your Name, Email, and WhatsApp number. The class type and date will be automatically selected. Enter the total number of guests attending.
- Parameters & Preferences: Select either Cash or Card. Use the additional message field to let us know about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requests.
- Submit: Review the quick summary of your payment details and click Submit.
Option 2: Booking a Custom / Private Class
- Navigate: Visit www.villagekitchenhiriketiya.com/cooking-class.
- Registration Jump: Scroll straight down to the registration section (do not select a class from the upcoming schedule).
- Initiate Custom Request: Fill in your Name, Email, and WhatsApp number, then click the yellow Schedule a Custom Class button (Do not select any available class here).
- Customize Session: Select your preferred date, start time, and number of guests.
- Select Your Menu: Choose your preferred number of curries (5, 7, or Custom). Note: If you select "Custom" for the curry amount, please use the message field to describe the specific curries you would like to make.
- Submit: Click Send Request, review your final form details at the bottom, and click Submit.
What Happens Next? (For All Bookings)
- Instant Acknowledgment: You will immediately receive an automated email confirming that we have received your booking request.
- Official Confirmation (1–3 Hours): Our team will review your request and send a formal confirmation email within 1 to 3 hours.
- If Confirmed: You will receive a formal confirmation email containing your unique Booking ID, a payment summary, and a direct link to your personal Booking Profile. Through this profile, you can view your class details, download your guidebook, view invoices, or manage your reservation.
- If Unavailable: In the rare event that we are unable to accommodate your request due to date unavailability or scheduling constraints, you will receive an official notification email informing you that your request could not be accepted.
- Card Payments & Early Bird Rewards: If you chose card payment, a secure payment button will be included in your confirmation email. Once payment is completed, your profile will be upgraded, automatically unlocking your Early Bird Reward.

Important Custom & Private Session Notes:
Guests are welcome to request a different date, time, and curry amount for their cooking class. All such requests are subject to review and approval, and confirmation will be provided after checking availability. We offer flexible custom class options, allowing you to personalize your experience by choosing the number of participants, selecting the number of curries, and deciding which curries you would like to prepare. All custom classes are treated as private sessions. Custom classes cannot be made public or commission-based bookings. Pricing may adjust based on group size, menu selection, and special requirements.
Cooking Class Schedule
Operating Days
Cooking classes are held on a scheduled basis:
Days: Monday to Friday
Note: Classes are typically not available on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Time Frames & Durations
Time Window: Often between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (time can change depending on public class or private class configurations).
Duration: Our standard cooking classes usually run for about 2h 30min to 3 hours.
Restaurant Transitions: After the cooking session ends, restaurant service usually begins from around 6:00 PM onwards.
Payments & Payment Methods
💵 Cash Payments
Where it's accepted: On arrival for Scheduled Public & Custom Private Cooking Classes (For all classes) and for all walk-ins/orders at our Restaurant.
💳 Card Payments
Where it's accepted: Available ONLY for Scheduled Public cooking classes.
🎁 The Early Bird Reward Breakdown
Choosing card payment automatically qualifies you for an Early Bird Reward (a random bonus such as an exclusive recipe, a specialized ingredient pack, or a souvenir). This reward will automatically unlock and update inside your booking profile once payment is complete. Card payments are the only payment method eligible for financial refunds if you need to cancel.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds are only applicable to card payments, as no advance payment is collected for cash bookings. For card users, your refund eligibility depends on when you submit your cancellation request prior to the scheduled class time:

Terms by Cash on Venue:
Since no upfront payment is made, no financial refund is required. However, we kindly request that you cancel your booking at least 1 hour in advance and send us an additional message to notify our team.
Profile Retention Rules:
Your booking profile will not be automatically deleted after one week. You can keep your profile active and log in to download your guidebook at any time. Multiple bookings will generate separate distinct files.
How to Cancel Your Booking & Request a Refund
Go to our official Order Portal: www.orders.villagekitchenhiriketiya.com
Enter your Booking ID (provided in the official confirmation email sent by our team).
Enter the OTP sent to your registered email and confirm to access your profile interface.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Cancel Booking."
Fill out the required details and submit. This will automatically trigger a WhatsApp message to our team for quick processing. Refunds are credited back within 2 to 5 business days.
Guide Book Extraction Pipeline
Go to the Portal
Start by opening the official Village Kitchen Hiriketiya orders portal at www.orders.villagekitchenhiriketiya.com. Use any modern browser and ensure you have a stable connection.
Access Your Order
Locate the Order Lookup section, enter your unique Order ID (e.g., SAMPLE‑XXXX), get the OTP number sent to your registered email, and confirm it. Click RETRIEVE to load your booking.
Click the Guide Button
Once your order is confirmed, look for the Guide Books option layout panel and click the button labeled Unlock My Guide Books.
Enter Your Booking ID
Type your Booking ID into the designated input field and confirm by pressing Unlock.
Download the Guide
Select the available digital edition matching your reservation (e.g., Rice & Curry – 7 Curries), click **View Details**, and use the Download option to save your guide book.
